Jeanette Dolan

Hello, my name is Jeanette Dolan and I am a RNC who is certified in Inpatient Obstetrics and an International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC). My entire nursing career has been spent in obstetrics, both labor and delivery and post-partum for over 30 years. I have always considered myself an advocate for families; empowering mothers to reach their personal goals in labor, delivery and breastfeeding. I obtained my nursing degree from Bethel University, and then my IBCLC more than 15 years ago.

I am very passionate about everything to do with moms and babies, but education about breastfeeding is my true passion. After nursing my own 3 children, I knew I wanted to pursue a career as a lactation consultant. I hope to help you create a village of support, education, and assistance on your breastfeeding and newborn journey. I truly understand and recognize the importance of having qualified lactation support in order to get breastfeeding off to the right start. My personal experience ranges from preemie breastfeeding, tongue / lip ties, painful latch, how to keep up milk supply, and returning to work. 

I currently live in Berrien Springs, MI with my husband, Don and 2 dogs, 2 cats, and a whole bunch of chickens. When I’m not educating, I enjoy hiking, traveling, spending time with family and friends. I’m excited to work with you and your baby on your breastfeeding journey.
